K Scan AI is a fashion-focused visual discovery, StyleChat, and shopping-assistance platform. This Terms Summary is a plain-language summary only. The full Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy remain the controlling documents.
1. What You Can Expect
AI-Powered Fashion Discovery:
K Scan AI may generate product suggestions, visual matches, fashion insights, visual analyses, StyleChat responses, and retailer links based on uploaded or captured content. AI outputs, recommendations, product matches, visual analyses, and StyleChat responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, outdated, or based on similar rather than exact matches. AI outputs are not professional advice, authentication advice, sizing advice, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, resale advice, or purchasing advice.
Your Content Stays Yours:
You retain ownership of the photos, screenshots, prompts, and other content you submit. K Scan AI receives only the limited rights necessary to host, process, display, transmit, moderate, secure, maintain, support, and improve the Service as described in the full Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Raw Scan Protection:
K Scan AI does not sell raw uploaded scans or images, biometric identifiers, face templates, faceprints, or sensitive personal information. K Scan is not designed for facial recognition, biometric identification, identity profiling, or surveillance.
18+ Use Only:
Users must be 18 years of age or older. The Service is not directed to children or minors. Users under 18 should not use K Scan AI.
2. Commercial Data & Partner Activity
To support our discovery and commerce tools, K Scan AI may share limited non-sensitive information with service providers, retail partners, affiliate partners, analytics providers, attribution providers, and marketing partners where permitted by law and subject to applicable consent, opt-out rights, contractual restrictions, platform rules, and user privacy controls.
K Scan AI may create, use, or commercialize certain non-sensitive commercial, analytics, preference, attribution, usage, aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information where permitted by law and described in the Privacy Policy.
K Scan AI may also earn affiliate fees, referral commissions, advertising revenue, partner reporting revenue, aggregated demand-intelligence revenue, or other commercial consideration from partners. Sponsored or paid placements, where used, are identified as such where required by law or platform rules.
3. Important Limits
AI Outputs Are Not Guarantees:
AI-generated fashion matches, recommendations, and product suggestions may be incomplete, approximate, inaccurate, visually similar but non-identical, unavailable, or outdated. Users should independently evaluate results before relying on them or making a purchase.
Third-Party Retailers:
Retailer purchases are completed with third-party retailers or marketplaces, not K Scan. Retailer purchases are not Apple In-App Purchases or Google Play Billing purchases. Third-party retailer payment, shipping, taxes, returns, refunds, sizing, authenticity, warranties, seller policies, and customer support are governed by that third party's terms and policies.
Pricing and Availability:
K Scan does not guarantee product authenticity, pricing, availability, sizing, quality, legality, shipping, fulfillment, returns, refunds, warranties, or seller legitimacy. Additional terms may apply to future subscriptions, premium features, APIs, enterprise tools, or paid services. If K Scan later sells digital features inside the app, those digital features will use Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing where required.
4. Your Responsibilities
Users are responsible for content they upload, submit, save, share, or send. Use K Scan AI lawfully and responsibly. Users must not upload or share unlawful, abusive, infringing, fraudulent, harmful, exploitative, harassing, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, child-safety-violating, privacy-invasive, or policy-violating content.
Users should not upload government IDs, financial records, medical information, confidential documents, or sensitive information about themselves or others unless a feature expressly requires it and they have the legal right to do so.
Dressing Rooms, uploaded inspiration, shared content, comments, messages, StyleChat interactions, and other UGC features must be used responsibly. Users may report abusive, illegal, infringing, harmful, or policy-violating content through in-app tools where available or by contacting kscanai.app@gmail.com. Where available, users may block or restrict abusive users.
5. Your Rights and Legal Protections
Depending on where you live, you may have rights related to access, deletion, correction, portability, consent withdrawal, or opt-out choices for certain data uses.
K Scan may review, restrict, remove, disable access to, preserve, or moderate user content, rooms, messages, accounts, or AI-related content that violates the Terms, platform policies, law, or safety rules. K Scan may act promptly, including within 24 hours where required by platform policy, legal obligation, safety risk, or internal escalation standards.
K Scan may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the Terms, platform policies, law, or safety rules. K Scan may also suspend or terminate access for violations, suspected abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, safety risks, security concerns, nonpayment, operational reasons, or risk to the Service.
Your use of K Scan is also governed by the Privacy Policy. K Scan AI's liability, disclaimers, acceptable-use rules, platform terms, dispute provisions, and other legal terms are governed by the full Terms and Conditions.
